Job Summary
Triage and determine priority of care for patients of all ages based on physical, psychological, and social needs. Assess patient needs, prioritize care based on critical nature, stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and arrange discharge or longer hospital stays. Work quickly in a multi-tasking environment to manage patient flow through the emergency care system. Schedule is 36 hours weekly from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- PALS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- ENPC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- TNCC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates effective leadership abilities
- Exhibits valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
