Job Summary
Triage and determine priority of care for patients of all ages based on physical, psychological, and social needs. Assess patient needs, prioritize care based on critical nature, stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and discharge them after the emergency resolves or arrange for longer hospital stays. Maintain an active Missouri RN license and obtain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC within specified timelines. Work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 24 hours weekly in the Emergency Department North.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- PALS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- ENPC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- TNCC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
