Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within non-invasive cardiology and diagnostic imaging spaces. Responsibilities include collaborative care planning, coordination with the interdisciplinary team, patient and family education, and ensuring care aligns with the plan of care. Training and onboarding will cover stress testing, nuclear medicine testing, and Cardiac PET workflows, with mentorship from cardiologists and experienced technologists to develop specialized competencies. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with assignments across hospital, cardiology clinic, and pavilion as needed. Focus on professional nursing practice, clinical decision-making, documentation, and adherence to licensure and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
  • Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required as of 4/27/2025
  • 2+ years RN experience, cardiology experience preferred
