Job Summary
Provides patient care using the nursing process for assigned patients; maintains professional accountability and confidentiality; coordinates patient care with other departments; adheres to Mercy mission, values, and service standards; requires RN licensure and may require BLS and unit-specific certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM); benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and retirement plans for staff working 32+ hours per pay period. Location at Mercy St. Louis Cardiopulmonary unit in Saint Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire
- Possible unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM as required by unit
