Job Summary
Provides patient care using the nursing process and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients. Must have RN licensure in the hiring state/compact state and BLS, with possible ACLS/ENPC/TNCC/PALS certifications based on unit requirements. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and/or other unit-specific certifications as required
- Preferred or required certifications may include: C-EFM, PALS, PEARS, OB certifications, Oncology, etc.
