Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) provides patient care using the nursing process, evaluates care effectiveness of direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy mission and standards. Requires RN license (in the hiring state and/or compact licensure) and education from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). BLS certification (or completion within 30 days) is required. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for shifts. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire
