Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients while maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers and ensure adherence to patient rights and confidentiality standards. Maintain a current RN license and obtain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or unit-specific modules within the department's timeframe. Perform duties involving pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Work part-time 24-hour coverage in the Endoscopy unit, contributing to a collaborative team focused on innovation and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Ability to meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
