Job Summary
Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises patient and family care plans while promoting Kentfield Hospital's mission. Provide direct nursing care, delegate and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Techs, and demonstrate clinical competence across cardiac, neuro, and respiratory specialties. Identify learning needs, teach patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve quality of care. Work in a charge nurse capacity based on patient and hospital needs, applying professional standards and regulatory compliance. Requires a current California RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification. Full-time NOC position at the San Francisco location.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to identify and implement components of the nursing process
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations
- Ability to project a professional image
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
