Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care for patients of all ages across medical, surgical, and mental health needs on the main floor unit. Manage varying acuity levels from basic medical issues to life-threatening emergencies while maintaining valid Indiana licensure and CPR certification. Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with 100-pound transfers as required by departmental standards. Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate patient care effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN
- Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to assist with 100 pounds
- Good verbal and written communication skills
