Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Surgical Neuro ICU using the nursing process; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; demonstrate professional accountability and align with Mercy mission and service standards; requires an active RN license and BLS, with unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, and other certifications as required); physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for shifts, and mobility tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN or other unit-specific certifications as required by unit
- Other: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing/walking; mobility and flexibility requirements
