Job Summary
Coordinate direct patient care, education, and serve as the leader of the patient care team for adult patients with acute medical problems on a 32-bed Progressive Care-Telemetry unit. Interpret cardiac rhythms and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure high-quality care for patients with cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary conditions. Participate in shared governance, promote evidence-based practice, and lead organizational change while adhering to strict infection control protocols. Requires current Virginia RN licensure, one year of experience, BLS certification, and a BSN or ADN enrollment. Offers up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, and onsite child care.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
- BLS certification
- Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Solid critical thinking skills and a strong application of the nursing process
- Effective adherence to infection control practices
