Administer complex patient care in the CVICU, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment to interpret intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, and cardiac rhythms. Prioritize immediate, evidence-based actions for life-saving situations and rapidly changing conditions while maintaining continuous vigilance. Assess patient needs to develop and revise individualized care plans, evaluate progress toward outcomes, and coordinate care by delegating tasks to appropriate team members. Document all interventions, including medication administration and treatments, in a manner meeting regulatory standards. Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, or unit educator to support new staff and students, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to manage unit goals. Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and attend required staff development and committee meetings.
