Registered Nurse - NICU

Provide direct, critical care for infants in a 20-bed level III NICU and a 9-bed level II Transition Unit. Collaborate within a collegial team approach to manage the most critical newborns born within the health system. After two years, transition to the Health Net Transfer Team to transport infants across Vermont and upstate New York. Requires current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont, an ADN degree (BSN preferred), and appropriate clinical experience. No on-call rotation is required. The unit emphasizes structured preceptorships, continuing education, and safe patient handling.
