Registered Nurse - NICU - PRN Nights

Job Summary
Provide obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in a NICU setting with emphasis on comprehensive, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning and execution, patient teaching and discharge planning, medication administration, use of Neonatal Monitor/Phototherapy equipment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support the health needs of perinatal and neonatal patients. The role requires on-call availability, ability to work up to twelve-hour shifts, and maintaining professional standards and documentation in a high-acuity NICU environment.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six months of hire
- Able to function in stressful situations
- Special Care Nursery/NICU experience desirable
- Able to return to work within 1 hour when on call
