Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position in the NICU for night shifts on a PRN basis. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians, triaging patients, performing tests and administering medications, and educating patients and families on care goals. Requires active Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, with a minimum of 1 year NICU experience. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP certification
- Suicide Prevention Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
