Job Summary
Conduct Level III NICU patient care in a 35-bed unit with family-centered, single-room setups. Provide neonatal resuscitation and manage occasional floating into Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units. Maintain current State of Illinois licensure, BLS through AHA, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification within six months of start date. Requires two years of NICU Level 3 RN experience. Work nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating weekend and holiday schedule, with a per diem commitment of 32-72 hours per six weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current BLS through AHA
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
- 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience highly preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
- Per Diem commitment Level 1: 32-72 hours per 6 week schedule
- Hours: Nights 7 PM - 7:30 AM including rotating weekends and rotating holidays
- Travel Required: Occasional floating into Peds/PICU, SCN and Mother Baby
