Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving families and providers, then coordinate care plans to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness and maintain professional knowledge of current standards, laws, and regulations. Schedule includes nights from 7 pm to 7:30 am with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 18 months of experience within NICU clinical specialty
