Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications, manage respiratory and ventilator support, and monitor vital signs for assigned neonatal patients. Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, document patient conditions, and lead discharge planning with the healthcare team. Provide immediate post-birth care and consult with parents regarding aftercare and long-term health management. Requires 2 years of NICU experience, current Tennessee RN license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN Degree Program
- 2 years minimum of NICU experience
- Employee must have valid BLS upon hire
- ACLS, NRP, CPI and STABLE required within 90 days of hire
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee
- Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the health care team, patients, and families
- PALS and NRR certification
