Job Summary
Registered Nurse-NICU at Mission Hospital (Asheville, NC) leading high-quality neonatal care on a 51-bed NICU unit within the regional Level III NICU. The role involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise, and educate patients and families; executing medically prescribed interventions; and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and reduce readmissions. Eligible for sign-on bonus. Requires NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply) and at least one year of nursing experience with NICU exposure; BLS certification; preferred NICU specialty certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
- One year of nursing experience
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Preferred National Certification in area of specialty
- Prior NICU nursing experience
