Job Summary
Leads and supports the NICU team to deliver professional nursing care for neonates, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, document care, and teach patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions and coordinates patient care and teaching. Requires NICU nursing experience, current NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), and BLS certification; position eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Current registered nurse licensure in North Carolina (NC BON)
- eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply
- One year of nursing experience
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Prior NICU nursing experience
- Preferred: National Certification in area of specialty
