Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in the NICU using the nursing process, coordinates care across departments, evaluates effectiveness, and ensures patient rights and confidentiality. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license with BLS required within 30 days of hire; additional unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or C-EFM may be required depending on unit. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact license (required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications may be required depending on unit
