Job Summary
Educate new mothers on physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period while caring for infants in the Level II NICU. Construct and implement individualized plans of care using nursing knowledge and skills. Develop goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet specific patient and family needs. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating Service Excellence standards. Requires 2 years of Level 3 NICU or Transport experience, a current Nevada nursing license, and BLS certification. Full-time night shift with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Level 3 NICU/Transport Experience
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP within 6 mo. of hire
- STABLE within 6 mo. of hire
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
