Job Summary
Registered Nurse NICU in El Paso, TX (FT Nights) responsible for delivering patient care via the nursing process, directing and coordinating nursing care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes. Requires Texas RN license (or compact licensure) and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, ENPC/PICU as applicable); Associate Degree in Nursing. Emphasizes patient- and family-centered care with culturally competent practice and participation in performance-improvement activities. Entry-level expectation with full-time status; prior clinical experience varies by status (one year for PRN/contract/travelers and specialized units as applicable). Location: El Paso, TX at El Paso Children’s Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE certifications as required by department
- Ability to read and comprehend English; strong communication and critical thinking skills
