Job Summary
Registered Nurse NICU, full-time days. Delivers patient care following the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and coordinates nursing care for patients per clinical standards. Collaborates with other professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes and support the organization’s mission. Requires pediatric and neonatal care capabilities, critical thinking, and strong communication. Education includes an Associate Degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN in Texas or a compact licensure; certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, plus department-specific certifications) with timelines after hire.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE certifications at start or within specified timelines
- RN BLS ACLS PALS NRP STABLE APHON TNCC ENPC PICU
- Ability to read and comprehend English
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation
