Job Summary
Provide high-quality, direct patient care in the NICU while leading execution and continuous monitoring of individualized patient care plans. Act as the central point of coordination for all disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and specialists, to ensure holistic patient journeys. Accurately implement physician orders, document nursing directives, and maintain precise records of patient conditions. Proactively assess and coordinate discharge planning needs to empower families for a successful transition home. This full-time night shift role at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, supports a nonprofit Catholic health system dedicated to reimagining healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- Minimum 2 years level IV NICU experience
