Job Summary
Deliver Registered Nurse patient care in the NICU by providing direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Coordinate care as part of the interdisciplinary team to support seamless care coordination and effective patient-centered outcomes. Perform accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure compliance, support continuity of care, and drive quality improvement. Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and ongoing patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred
