Job Summary
Registered Nurse NICU providing direct nursing care in accordance with Las Palmas Medical Center policies and Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of patient care in the NICU. Requires graduation from an accredited ADN or BSN program, Texas or Compact state nursing license, BCLS, and NRP certification with strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and leadership abilities; proficient in charting/computer systems and dedicated to perinatal and neonatal care. Located in El Paso, TX at Las Palmas Medical Center within HCA Healthcare."
Required Qualifications
- Texas or Compact State Nursing License
- BCLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- Graduate from an Accredited Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree of Nursing Program
Desired Qualifications
- Perinatal and neonatal healthcare experience preferred
- S.T.A.B.L.E. course certification within 6 months of hire preferred
- RNC Preferred
- Breastfeeding education preferred
