Job Summary
Provide highly professional NICU newborn nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) for assigned patients. Administer medications and IV therapies, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Ensure accurate documentation and contribute to ongoing professional growth. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, Texas RN license or eligibility, and at least 1 year NICU RN experience. PRN daytime shifts at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year NICU RN experience
