Job Summary
Registered nurse providing highly professional and technical nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU, with focus on newborn admission. Performs nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and ensures safe, therapeutic environment, accurate documentation, and timely medication/IV administration. Requires TX RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year NICU RN experience. PRN schedule with shift details listed (2 days, 24 hours). Methodist Mansfield Medical Center NICU in a full-service hospital setting with Magnet designation and recognition.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year NICU RN experience
