Provide direct and indirect patient care to newborns using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications and IVs safely while maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Communicate patient information accurately to the team and evaluate family understanding of care instructions. Ensure complete, timely written documentation and adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment. Assume responsibility for patient/family education and professional growth.
