Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients while performing patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management, ensuring adherence to safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatments, communicate clinical updates to physicians, and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation. Provide direct, patient-centered care within the Oncology/Infusion Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
