Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, specialized care to oncology and hematology patients by administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments to adult patients with diagnosed malignancies. Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment response and side effects, and educate families on treatment plans and symptom management. Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards, hazardous drug handling protocols, and HIPAA compliance while communicating clinical changes to physicians. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care within the infusion center setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
