Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients while performing patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management, and ensure adherence to safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment, communicate clinical changes and diagnostic results to physicians, and maintain accurate documentation with HIPAA compliance. This Registered Nurse role supports compassionate, specialized care within the Oncology/Infusion Center at Central Maine Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
