Job Summary
Neurosciences intermediate RN on a 24-bed neuroscience unit (CDH Neuro Intermediate 3B) providing care to patients with acute neurological and spine disorders, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal injury, seizures, CNS infections/inflammation, and post-op neurosurgical/spinal care. Role is full-time nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends; requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and demonstrates strong analytic and interpersonal skills. BSN is required (ADN with plan to obtain BSN within three years acceptable). Located in Winfield, IL; in-person shift with Northwestern Medicine benefits and opportunities for professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
