Registered Nurse - Neuroscience (Part Time, Nights)

Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients on the Neuroscience unit. Synthesize clinical data to optimize patient outcomes, coordinate interdisciplinary communication with physicians, and provide patient and family education throughout treatment. Perform validated technical skills, utilize evidence-based practice, and lead team building by mentoring new colleagues and delegating tasks based on acuity and expertise. Maintain clinical competency and a safe work environment while participating in performance improvement processes. Night shift rotation from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend and holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program
- Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care
- Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies
- Basic computer skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
- Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania
