Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving families and providers on the Neurology Unit day shift. Coordinate care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate while individualizing teaching based on specific learning needs. Communicate clearly with all customers in person, by phone, and in writing. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness and maintain professional knowledge of current standards and regulations. Requires an Associate's or BSN, Illinois licensure, and CPR certification. Full-time 36-hour week from 7:00am to 7:30pm with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Every other weekend required
