Registered Nurse - Neurology

Registered Nurse - Neurology providing high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards. Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, perform procedures and document care, administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, respond to patient needs, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps. Collaborates with medical providers and care team, following nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage) to ensure outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. Requires Basic Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale certifications within 30 days of employment start date. Location is Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC; relocation assistance offered.
