Job Summary
Registered Nurse Neurology: Day/Night rotating shifts (36 hours/week) on the 9 South Neuroscience Unit, a 24-bed inpatient pediatric neurology/general pediatrics unit with an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). Provides nursing care across the continuum, collaborates with families and the multidisciplinary team, develops and revises plans of care, adheres to nursing standards and evidence-based practice, and demonstrates teaching to patients/families. Requires RN licensure (PA and/or NJ) with CP R certification and adherence to CHOP’s Nursing Practice Model, safety and QA standards; 12 months of RN experience preferred; CEUs for licensure; annual influenza vaccination required. Salary range: $47.15-$56.72 hourly.

- Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or Registered Nurse (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - Required
