Job Summary
Conduct highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in the Neuro/Trauma ICU, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provide direct and indirect patient care, including safe and accurate medication and IV administration, while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information. Assume responsibility for the educational process for patients, families, and significant others, fostering a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes a cooperative work culture. Work as a registered nurse with six months of experience, holding a current Texas license and BLS certification, on PRN days from 7a-7p.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Six months RN experience
