Job Summary
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review. Develop and implement patient plans of care while evaluating responses to ensure optimal outcomes. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and catheterization. Document ongoing status, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and advocate for patient safety and rights. Work 90% FTE nights from 7pm to 7:30am. Requires one year of RN ICU experience and an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Located in Lakewood, Colorado at St. Anthony Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated facility specializing in neuro trauma, stroke, and orthopedic care.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Active and unencumbered RN License in state of employment
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS from AHA
- NIHSS
- TCAR or TNCC within one year of hire
- One year RN ICU experience
- Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally
- up to 20 lbs. frequently
- up to 10lbs. constantly
