Job Summary
Coordinate and ensure total nursing care for assigned neuro progressive patients, including comprehensive assessments, clinical skill execution, and progress evaluations. Delegate to and supervise student nurses, nursing assistants, and licensed practical nurses while assisting in orientation and clinical supervision. Monitor patient conditions, report changes to providers, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Float among various clinical services as qualified. Work nights from 7pm to 7am with 80% standing or walking duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Arkansas Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- ASLS certification
- Dysrhythmia certification
- Ability to spend 80% of time walking and/or standing while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment
- Ability to be exposed to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and radiation
- Ability to serve a cultural and linguistically diverse patient population
Desired Qualifications
- National certification in relevant field
