Registered Nurse Neuro Med-Surg Days Part-Time

Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse on the Neuro Med-Surg unit and may assume charge nurse responsibilities as delegated. Leads and delegates safe nursing care activities, evaluates patient care effectiveness, and collaborates with the healthcare team, patient, family, and community services regarding outcomes and discharge planning. Participates in unit-based quality improvement and research activities; uses nursing process to plan care across the lifespan with consideration of aging and cultural patterns. Demonstrates and maintains clinical competencies per credentialing standards, completes BLS and ACLS/PALS as appropriate, and serves as a role model/preceptor to new graduates and less experienced personnel. Continuously seeks educational opportunities and professional involvement to support a healthy, patient-centered care environment.
