Job Summary
Provide clinical expertise to care for invasive radiology patients in a procedural environment. Assist physicians in procedures, ensure room and equipment readiness, set up the procedure room promptly, monitor patients during procedures, document patient conditions, and administer medications per physician orders. Continuously assess, monitor, and communicate patient status and act appropriately. Requires Florida RN license (or compact with active FL license within 60 days), Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred). ACLS within 6 months, BLS current. No travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Florida Registered Nurse or compact licensure with active Florida RN license within 60 days of hire
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
