Registered Nurse - Neuro (4400) Days

Job Summary
Provide patient care on the Neuro 4400 unit using the nursing process; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; uphold Mercy Service Standards and professional accountability. Duties include evaluating care effectiveness of direct care givers and supporting stroke and neurosurgical patients, requiring RN licensure with BLS and ACLS (or to obtain within 90 days), and contributing to a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on an 18-bed unit. Sign-on bonus available for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire
