Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Neuro on the 4400 unit (Days) at Mercy. Provides patient care using the nursing process, coordinates care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of care from direct care staff and ensuring quality through the care team. Unit details include 18 beds and a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for stroke and neurosurgical patients. Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for full-time RNs. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN), current RN license or compact licensure, and BLS/ACLS within 90 days of hire. No contract. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for 32+ hours per pay period. Location: Fort Smith, AR, United States.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
