Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Nephrology with med/surg background sought to join an inter-professional hospital team. Responsibilities include applying the Synergy Model for Care, delivering safe, dependable, and effective patient care using the nursing process, and developing individualized plans of care. Acts as a resource to colleagues, advocates for patients and families, communicates effectively with the healthcare team, and can function in a developing leadership role, including serving as Charge Nurse when assigned. Emphasis on assessing patient/family learning needs, coordinating care, and contributing to evidence-based practice within an interprofessional setting. Requires nursing degree, licensure, and ongoing certification as specified; physical requirements and travel may apply as described. Located in Atlanta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required
- ACLS may be required in designated departments
