Job Summary
The RN coordinates nursing care for nephrology and hypertension patients, providing direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Practices under Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model with accountability across planning, implementation, evaluation and communication of nursing care. Demonstrates leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement, delegates care by skill level and resource availability, and may participate on committees. May be required to drive personal vehicle as part of the role. Eligible for TN sponsorship with state licensure and VisaScreen certification.
