Job Summary
Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for oncology patients; coordinates patient care across the continuum in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; serves as a clinical resource with hematology/oncology care management; liaison within the facility and in the community regarding services for oncology patients; provides expert nursing care including consultation, direct clinical practice, education, and research.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, required
- BLS/CPR issued by the American Heart Association, required
- Minimum of 3 years oncology nursing experience, required
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, preferred
