Registered Nurse

Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, document encounters in the Electronic Medical Record, and verify regimen orders for chemotherapy, biologics, immunotherapy, and supportive care medications. Recognize and respond to cancer-related issues including toxicities and oncological emergencies while assessing patient/family readiness for individualized education. Provide compassionate support, communicate pertinent concerns, and triage needs directly or by phone. Participate in quality improvement activities, manage clinical scheduling, and assist in developing clinical policies. Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative staff to resolve barriers to safe treatment delivery.
