Job Summary
Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care for residents with complex health needs, including respiratory care and medication management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, therapists, and families to support residents with physical disabilities and learning needs toward maximum independence. Maintain accurate clinical records, respond to changing clinical needs and medical emergencies, and promote health, wellbeing, and choice. Provide clinical guidance and support colleagues through competency assessments. Work within a supportive, values-driven environment offering structured preceptorship for newly qualified nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RGN, RNLD or equivalent)
- Excellent assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills
- Communicates effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Thrives within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Committed to ongoing professional development
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- Subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting people with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties
- Experience within a residential or community setting
- Respiratory care experience, including tracheostomy or laryngectomy management
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
